One tuck relaxed fit pants kneeless
Relaxed-fit pants with a single pleat and a tapered silhouette. A moderately deep rise and generous room around the waist provide a relaxed, comfortable fit, while a gentle taper toward the hem creates a clean silhouette. The fabric is an ultra-fine corduroy with a smooth surface reminiscent of velveteen, dyed using SHIMAZOME, a natural dyeing process based on the mud-dyeing tradition of Amami. The color develops through a reaction between dye extracted from Teichigi and iron contained in the mud. The dyeing and drying processes are repeated entirely by hand by skilled artisans, resulting in a rich color with depth and nuance. Blended with silk, the fabric has a refined luster and a smooth surface with understated wales, giving it a supple, soft feel against the skin. It also has stretch for ease of movement and comfortable wear and is lined.
【 SHIMAZOME 】
SHIMAZOME is based on the traditional mud-dyeing technique of Amami, in which color develops through a reaction between the dye solution extracted from Teichigi (Sharinbai, a member of the rose family) and iron contained in the mud. The processes of dyeing and drying are repeated entirely by hand, with the accumulation of these processes resulting in a rich color with depth and nuance.
