Established in 1875. Long-established tea caddy store in Kyoto with the oldest history in Japan. The shop continues to maintain the method that has been used since the first generation, using consistent handmade techniques. The beauty of the tea caddies, with their original austere beauty, increases with time. The precision with which the lid closes of its own accord, a characteristic of Kaikado tea caddies, can only be achieved by handwork.
