The Market tote M size is made of ramie fabric made with a traditional gluing process using Konjac (Asian yam roots). The M size is made in a square silhouette and very easy to use as a daily bag. The inside has a full width pocket that is divided in compartments by stitching. The fabric is characterized by its unique bouncy firmness. A thin leather round handle is attached by hand-stitch, giving the bag a more formal look. Available in two colors: Vintage green and Terracotta.

Fabric made with tradtional Japanese glueing method using konnyaku (yam). This fabric is woven with a thick ramie yarn is a shako (basket) weave. The glue is semi-permanent, and the technique has long been used for high-grade traditional Japanese textiles including Omi Kamifu, Noto Kamifu, and Ojiya Shrink. By dissolving konnyaku (yam) powder in water to form a paste and gluing it onto a single strand of yarn, this process reduces the fluffiness of the yarn resulting in a unique bouncy, firm finish.

*Because of the nature of the fabric, the fabric will gradually soften over time.
*If the fabric becomes wet, please wipe immediately with a dry cloth. To clean the fabric, wipe with a tightly wrung cloth.
