【SUWADA】SUWADA was established in 1926 in Sanjo, Niigata, a city known for its cutlery. The Suwada craftsmen are famous for their kuikiri, an end-cut plier in which both blades join together to cut hard objects and nails. This is vegetable-tanned cowhide made in Italy. The surface of the leather has a lightly damaged process done by craftsmen to give the leather deep expressions. The leather has a matte nubuck when new, but as it is used over time, the surface becomes shinier and more durable.
