This Rim box is made in a A&S exclusive material using a deep black walnut wood. This box does not come with a lid. Durability is ensured by double reinforcement of the rim. This style fits well into any kind of interior décor. Most processes of the production are done by hand, and the delicate joints, known as swallowtails, are hand-cut by skilled craftsmen. The copper nails used to fasten the swallowtail are made in the USA using 19th century nail-producing machines. Vegetable oil based with linseed oil and beeswax wax are used for the paint, to be environmentally safe for the body. On the lower part of the back of the box there is an "ARTS&SCIENCE” branded stamp.
Available in four sizes: 1D, 2D, 4D and 6D. The sizes are ideal for various purposes such as organizing pens, cooking utensils and other tools you wish to store stacking vertically, or as a dustbin. Please choose the size of the box you wish accordingly.

*Since all of the products are made by making the most of the characteristics of natural wood, there are individual differences in the grain, color, knots, and other characteristics of each item. Please understand this as the characteristics and texture of the product before purchasing.
*No special care is required, but if you feel that the luster has diminished, wax can be applied to the wood to restore its moist luster. Since wax has water-repellent and stain-preventing effects, it is recommended to apply it once every six months.
*Do not store in direct sunlight.
*Please also avoid using the product in excessively dry locations.
*Please be careful not to expose the box to water.
