SPECIAL

This memorial box was created from the voice of "I want to keep my beloved pet's urn close to me". It is not a regular circle, but slightly oval in shape. It can be used not only for limited purposes, but also for storing small items such as children's toys that tend to get scattered around. Most parts of the production are done by hand, and the delicate joints called "swallowtail" are hand-cut by skilled craftsmen. The copper nails used to fasten the swallowtail are made in the U.S.A. using 19th-century nail-making machines. Vegetable oil based on linseed oil and beeswax wax are used for the paint, taking into consideration the impact on the environment and the human body. The inside of the body is unpainted to take advantage of the wood's humidity-regulating properties. The underside of the box is numbered to indicate the size of the box.  Walnut (brown), made of black walnut, is a special-order material from A&S.
