Boston bag with a horizontally elongated silhouette. The Mini is a compact size roomy enough to hold essentials. The leather is Italian tannin-tanned sheepskin. The leather is dyed beige, then sprayed with black dye, after which it undergoes a drum-tumbling process that partially removes the black from the surface, creating a distinctive crackled effect. The depth of color created by the beige base and black coming together, along with the rich and varied appearance of each individual piece, is part of its appeal. The degree to which the dye adheres and the amount of color that remains vary from piece to piece, and the leather takes on different appearances at the center and along the edges. The handles are long enough to allow the bag to be worn over the shoulder, and the opening features a double-zip closure that makes it easy to access the contents. Fabric is used for the lining to keep the bag lightweight. The interior has one pocket. With use, the surface coating gradually wears away, revealing the color underneath and giving the bag an increasingly contrasting appearance.
