The Stand collar box shirt half sleeve is a reinterpretation of the classic Stand collar box shirt but with short sleeves. Its roomy boxy silhouette offers a relaxed fit, and the slip-on design with drop shoulders makes it effortless to wear for both men and women. Crafted from a piqué knit made by knitting together a medium-count wet-spun high-twist washi single yarn and a thick-count cotton single yarn. The surface is finished with crisp washi yarn, lending a cool, dry texture. Cotton yarn is used on the reverse side against the skin, resulting in a comfortable feel that highlights the distinctive texture and functional qualities of each material.

A pique knit (kanoko) constructed from a medium-weight Japanese paper yarn, tightly spun using a traditional water-based twisting technique, combined with a thicker cotton single yarn. The structure is engineered so that the crisp, dry paper yarn sits predominantly on the outer surface, while the softer cotton yarn is positioned on the inner side, allowing each material’s texture and functional qualities to be fully expressed. The paper yarn is made from organic Manila hemp, giving it a firm, resilient character. Due to this specification, the fabric can only be produced on a loopwheel knitting machine.
