Hexagon shaped small bowl A (“Gyoku” series) made by glass artist Masao Kozumi. This item is made in a mold and air-blown glass technique. The work is inspired by an ancient shape and is made from a milky white glass called Gyoku glass, which is reminiscent of white porcelain and expressed in a whitish color. The hexagonal shape of this square mukozuke is characterized by a design with a rimmed mouth. The glassware is formed by blowing into the glass attached to a blowpipe using the air-blowing and mold-blowing techniques. Not many pieces are successfully completed because the thickness of the mouth is made very thin and fragile. These small bowls add color and enlighten your everyday dining, and the simple milky-white mukozuke (a bowl with a small bowl) is a good pairing for Japanese cuisines.
