The width of this new book cover can be adjusted according to the thickness of the books. Excess leather can be stored inside. The width is long enough to accommodate books of different thicknesses. The M size accommodates books (H21✕W15cm). The leather adapts with frequent use, becoming richer and richer in color as it gains luster. Logo and brand name engraved on the inside.

100% cow leather

This leather is a Vachetta* tannin tanned leather made by BADALASSI of Italy. A thin coat finish is done made by carefully selected raw hides of the leather. The more the leather is used, the softer and flexible it becomes, and the texture develops a rich expression.

*Vachetta method is a traditional Italian tanning way having been used for more than 1,000 years. The process is slowly tanned with vegetable tannin and then carefully greased with beef leg oil.

Caution

*The leather sometimes has animal’s own characteristics (wrinkles, moles, blood streaks, scars, etc.), because we processed it, leveraging the quality of leather itself. The irregularity in the product is not a defect, but a feature of natural leather. Please enjoy the aging of leather over the time with the individual difference.

*Leather products may have individual differences in expression even in the same product. Please understand the characteristics of natural materials before purchase.
