Crafted from a collaborative fabric developed by Italian knitwear brand Diane de Clercq and ARTS&SCIENCE, this Back button shirt features a simple crew neckline that showcases the character of the print. The botanical pattern, originally hand-drawn by designer Diane de Clercq, was faithfully digitized and printed onto A&S’s signature cotton fabric. The design depicts vividly colored flowers and plants, as if painted in watercolor. The fabric is made from ultra-long staple cotton, exceptionally rare worldwide, and has a slightly heavier weight with both a subtle crispness and a smooth, soft touch. The slightly longer length allows the shirt to be tucked in, making it versatile for a variety of styling options. A variation, the Back button shirt – Mustard, is also available in a somewhat thicker fabric with a different print.

This fabric is the result of a collaboration with Diane de Clercq. Diane’s hand-drawn pattern was faithfully digitized, and inkjet-printed onto a cotton fabric slightly heavier than A&S’s signature High Count Special Cotton 60, itself woven to an exceptionally high density. Diane de Clercq is an Italian knitwear brand known for its unique, playful designs created each season with thoughtfully selected materials. Their collections feature distinctive knitting techniques and carefully composed color palettes.
