This is a chrome-free tanned leather made from baby calf leather originally from Italy. This leather, developed as a part of sustainable measures, has started to spread mainly in Europe due to recent environmental problems. The skin of calves within 3 to 6 months of birth is called calfskin, and it is thin, fine and flexible, and the color is good and beautiful, which is the best value among the cowhide. Since the surface is carefully WAX processed, the unique suppleness of the calf and the gloss will increase.
*"Metal-free" means a 53.7% reduction in the amount of water and a 32.5% reduction in the amount of chemicals used. It is mainly tanned using tannin extracted from plants, but it is not completely full vegetable tanning and also uses chrome. Chrome is used, but it is within the standard value of European sustainable leather.

Caution
*Baby calf is very delicate leather. The surface is clear processed, but it is easy to get scratches. If it gets scratched, wipe it with a dry cloth and let it settle in. As you use it for a long time, the color will change and the gloss will increase and it will become less noticeable.
*The leather sometimes has animal’s own characteristics (wrinkles, moles, blood streaks, scars, etc.), because we processed it, leveraging the quality of leather itself. The irregularity in the product is not a defect, but a feature of natural leather. Please enjoy the aging of leather over the time with the individual difference.
