The leather is tanned using the Vachetta method* by a long-established Italian tannery. It has a natural finish with just the right amount of oil. The cow leather will show rich changes in the appearance with repeated use.
*Vachetta method is a traditional Italian tanning way having been used for more than 1,000 years. The process is slowly tanned with vegetable tannin and then carefully greased with beef leg oil.

Caution
*Scratches are easy to get on the leather and are easily noticeable. As it is used more and more, it will blend in and become more lustrous, giving it a different, more dignified appearance than when it was first used. Please enjoy the aging process as you use it.
